On Wednesday, the Metropolitan police said they were “very likely” to interview her after launching an investigation into alleged cocaine use. Sir Ian Blair, the Metropolitan police commissioner, said he had ordered the investigation because of fears that the pictures could have a damaging effect on “impressionable young people”.
So the police aren’t interested in “possession of a Class A” substance (at least among celebrities) but are concerned that publishing pictures of its use is bad for the kids. In whch case, shouldn’t he be chasing the Daily Mirror rather than the user?
The fashion industry have reacted badly to this photo. Apparently it’s OK for everyone to know that salabrities use coke as long as there’s no evidence to prove it for certain.
